Welcome!

Halfway through my second semester of graduate school, I realized I could do better.  I realized that to fully manifest my potential as a development practitioner, it wasn't enough to have a fabulous foundation in economy theory.  I needed to think more.  And I needed to engage, not just with my Kennedy School classmates, but with the range of passionate people from various backgrounds who would really push my thinking.  And so this website was born.  Primarily, it's my blog, which forces me to think about things enough to have the confidence to put my ideas out there.  But while I'm at it, I decided to use it as a parking lot for links to cool papers and reviews of important popular development books (I swear I will get on that some day).

Thank you for engaging.  You make me better at what I love to do.

About Me

I'm incredibly passionate about international development and economics.  I'm particularly interested in technology and development, aid effectiveness, telecommunications regulation, models of philanthropic engagement, industrial policy, and social investment.

My MPAID degree from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and background in the technology informs my thinking.
